EnviroPhase is a leader in asbestos testing for commercial clients, having conducted over 3,000 surveys in Texas and neighboring states over the past twenty-plus years.

Most companies/services can only test, but our Texas Consultant’s licensing (the highest certification available) and years of experience allow us to help you determine the best options for managing asbestos-containing materials should they be found.  Should asbestos abatement be required, we can provide the required abatement consulting services as and refer local abatement firms that, from our experience, do the work correctly, efficiently, and for the best value.

Asbestos Testing

Texas and other states have enacted regulations aimed at the verification of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) within public and commercial buildings. The Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules (TAHPR) are specific to the renovation and demolition of asbestos-containing materials for commercial properties.

When working through the permit process, asbestos testing (referred to as an “asbestos survey”) of the subject property will typically be required. It is important to understand your options surveying a property for asbestos. EnviroPhase helps identify, manage, and oversee the removal of asbestos in public and commercial buildings. Phase 1 Environmental Site Investigations (ESA)

Phase 1 ESAs (Environmental Site Assessments) are a due diligence step in real estate transactions that evaluate potential environmental risk(s) to a property.

Phase 2/3 ESAs

A Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) involves sampling and laboratory analysis of soil, groundwater, or soil vapor to investigate potential contamination identified in a Phase 1 ESA. A Phase 3 ESA focuses on the development and implementation of a site remediation plan

Property Condition Assessment (PCA)

Property Condition Assessments (PCA’s) are used to determine the general physical condition and maintenance status of a property and to recommend next steps to meet your long-term needs.

Underground petroleum storage tank (PST/UST) checks, investigations, removal, and mitigation/remediation services.

Vapor Intrusion

Properties where soil and/or groundwater have been affected by chemical releases, the potential exists for vapors to emanate from affected soils and/or groundwater and negatively affect air quality inside an overlying enclosed building.
