EnviroPhase, a leading environmental consulting firm, is seeking a staff geologist based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with prior experience in environmental site investigations, due diligence, and regulatory compliance projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Geology, or 5 years equivalent environmental consulting experience considered.
- 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including Phase I and Phase II environmental site investigations, subsurface boring installations, sampling (soil, groundwater, and vapor), compliance inspections, and contractor oversight.
- Technical writing, including preparing text, tables, figures, and calculations for environmental reports.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills and ability to manage multiple activities on an ongoing basis to meet project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe. Prior experience with due diligence (EDR, ERIS) data services preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of state and federal environmental regulations.
Travel
Requires ability to conduct regional site visits with a personal vehicle. Most travel in concentrated in base areas (DFW, Houston, etc) but occasional (20%) to other areas with expenses reimbursed. Use of a reliable personal vehicle is required with mileage reimbursed at published government rates. Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Physical Demands
Field assignments are located in a variety of diverse climates consistent with TX weather. Position may require standing and walking moderate distances for site visits.
